sunday and monday we had unseasonably warm weather touching, just, sixty at times. so monday was all fog, morning to sunset, which caused the office windows to be an opaque dirty white the whole day long excepting extremely intermittent glimpses of the city and gusts scudding fog frantically along. the cold came back but with it the sun and on ( Read more... )

we saw a white zeppelin flying over the san jose area last night while we were running an errand up there. i looked it up and it is one of only three in the world and regularly flies tours in the bay area. it's not going to fit into our schedule (we might've made time for it if i'd known of it sooner), but i wish we could, for views like this:
